Village Ocotillo

One of the key challenges in designing this expansive health club was integrating it harmoniously into the existing residential context. To achieve this, the use of earth-toned colors and materials was essential in complementing the surrounding neighborhood, while carefully selected pops of color enlivened the interior spaces. The design also capitalizes on the natural beauty of the area, with views opening up to the adjacent lake and incorporating local materials and plant palettes.

This design approach was met with praise from City Staff, the Homeowner’s Association, and Council members, who lauded its contextual sensitivity and innovative aesthetics. Indeed, it has been recognized by these groups as setting a new standard for future development in the area.
